#46 Everett, Washington, USA

Our wish for you is best summed up in a song by Lee Ann Womack...
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder.
You get your fill to eat, but always keep that hunger.
May you never take one single breath for granted.
God forbid love ever leaves you empty handed.
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean.
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens.
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance.
And when you get the choice to sit out or dance,
I hope you dance!
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance.
Never settle for the path of least resistance.
Living might mean taking chances, but they're worth taking.
Loving might be a mistake but its worth making.
Don't let some bent heart leave you bitter.
When you come close to selling out, reconsider.
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance.
And when you get the choice to sit out or dance,
I hope you dance.
Best wishes from Seattle, Washington...

Thanks to Diann and Bill Shields for this beautiful fushia, and orange polka dotted funky fabric square and the beautiful and meaningful song full of hopes and wishes.

A Moonbeam
Take a glimpse into the sky
And if a moonbeam hits your eye
Follow it back to whence it came
And dream of a child who'll bear your name.
A little one may look right back
And follow a beam along it's track
And see a mother awaiting the day
In whose arms forever to stay.

Thank-you to our special friends Susan, Albert, Laia, Pol and Tess for the gorgeous fabric square about friendship. On the fabric it says, "Friendship is sewn one stitch at a time." It also says, "True friends are never far apart, each keeps the other in her heart." Thank-you Susan for sending us a fabric square, as well as the Chinese name for Jamie, and the wonderful poem. I especially want to thank you for the additional heart felt letter you wrote to Jamie. It means a lot to me and so does our friendship.

The rainbow was given to us as a sign of the promise that God made right after the Great Flood. He promised never again to bring about this kind of destruction. It's a reminder to Him and to us. The rainbow is a reminder to you and to me of what Jesus did on the Cross. When you see a rainbow, think of it as much more than a trick of the sunlight plays on airborne water particles. It's there to bring to mind for us who God is, what He did, and who we are in Him. Remember His love, His great sacrifice, His love for you, and His goodness.
This beautiful Asian rainbow fabric was sent to us from Theresa and Brad Collins. They are part of our Ladybugs and Red Thread Believers Group. What they didn't know is that ten years ago after we were married there was a rainbow in the sky when we came out of our church. Everyone told us that this was a sign of good-luck, hope and promises. It is very neat that rainbow fabric will appear in our daughter's quilt!

Saint Theresa's Prayer
May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are both with faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing that you are a child of God. Let His presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
Blessings to you, Mark and Rebecca Radicchi

We received a square from another family that is part of our Ladybug and Red Thread Believers group. Mark and Rebecca are waiting for their daughter Claire.
